We’re a team of creatives, strategists, and storytellers. With a background in journalism and decades of marketing experience, we help businesses show up authentically to make a lasting impact.
Our Story
We didn’t start in marketing. We started in storytelling.
Before launching Tiny Sparrow Marketing, we spent years in front of and behind the camera—writing scripts, directing shoots, anchoring newscasts, and producing content for our employers. Then in 2017, Hurricane Harvey hit Houston, Texas. Blaine’s employer went bankrupt, and he was laid off.
That was the pivotal moment when we decided it was time to follow our dreams and build something for ourselves and our family. We wanted to be able to create opportunities for others and use our skills to serve as many people as we could.
Today, we distill complex ideas into compelling stories people actually care about. And we saw firsthand how the right message, shared the right way, can shift perspectives and drive action.
That’s the heart of what we for our clients: we help brands cut through the noise and connect—authentically, visually, strategically.

Blaine Walker
Blaine founded Tiny Sparrow in 2017 with his wife Idolina. Today he heads up the sales division and video production. He has an MBA from ISU, and over 15 years of experience in marketing. In recent years he has worked with companies like Apple, Reebok, The NFL, and more.
Social Media Manager & SEO Specialist
Shannon
Shannon is Tiny Sparrow Marketing’s Social Media Manager, specializing in content creation and copywriting that connects brands with their audiences in meaningful ways. With over 10 years of experience in digital media, she brings both creativity and strategy to every post, campaign, and caption she crafts.
When she’s not managing social feeds, Shannon is often blogging and developing new recipes—combining her love for storytelling with her passion for delicious, creative food. She lives in Columbus, Ohio, with her husband and their three energetic sons, where life is a blend of family, flavor, and a lot of football.

The name "Tiny Sparrow" came from a nickname given to Blaine by a friend while he was working on his family farm in-between semesters at grad school.

Idolina Walker
Ido is an Emmy-nominated journalist. She is an experienced TV meteorologist, news anchor, lifestyle host, and even a traffic reporter. But before she stood in front of a camera, she curated her writing and interviewing skills as a producer, digital content director, and managing editor. So she knows how to tell a story through video. She is also a master public speaker and has serious design skills in graphics and web design.

Adi hails from Mexico but is currently going to university in Canada! Her passion is graphic design and is expanding her studies into the wide world of digital marketing.
